• HOSA-Future Health Professionals announces the 2016-2017 theme:  Leadership, Service and Engagement
Leadership--focus on HOSA’s core values (lead, learn, serve, innovate); have the vision to operationalize and sustain an organization to strive for excellence!
Service—focus on exceeding expectations (within your local chapter; with partners; in your school; and in your community)
Engagement—focus on behavior that sends the message that HOSA-Future Health Professionals are the focal point of servant leadership.  Leadership that is not about me but about “we”.  The engagement of all sectors of health professionals is expanded when we focus on each other.  Teamwork makes HOSA’s dream work!
Have a great 2016-2017 membership year!

Mrs. Veronica Randall

I have been the HOSA advisor at PVHS since 2010 when we started our first chapter. HOSA - Future Health Professionals is a student-lead organization design for individuals desiring to pursue a career within the health field. HOSA is co-curricular to our PLTW Biomedical Sciences  program and so students must be in these classes in order to participate in HOSA.
Our program has grown quite a bit since we started. We now have two chapters with approximately 70 total members. During the year members have the opportunity to:  volunteer in the school and local community, develop leadership skills through training and participate at state and national competitions in a wide variety of events.
